CSA and NCCE celebration event - Birmingham CC334 / A01
Summary
A series of regional celebration events taking place in July 2022, these events are exclusively for graduates of the Computer Science Accelerator programme.
These events have been designed by our network of Computing Hubs in close collaboration with regional industry, stakeholders and partners, and will all be unique and exciting in their own way.
They provide an opportunity for CSA graduates to meet and celebrate with one another, recognising their achievements and dedication to professional development, and wider impact as a result. You'll also receive a physical copy of your Subject knowledge certificate!

13:00 Arrival (Sign in, exhibitors, networking)
13:30 Welcome/Introduction
13:40 Keynote: Nicola Swaney, Education Outreach Manager for Rolls-Royce, will talk about the link between computing education and the automotive manufacturer’s own digital strategy and workforce. Over 22,500 people work for Rolls-Royce in the UK, and with one of its main sites in Birmingham, there are plenty of opportunities for young people in the region. Rolls-Royce is a valued supporter of the NCCE, and Nicola is herself an active STEM Ambassador.

14:05 Keynote: Dan Hoff-Rodrigues, , Director of {CX}² Talent Solutions - a community-focused Tech & Digital talent solutions business, Digital Skills Lead at Birmingham Tech Week and YouTube Host, will share his insights from the Tech sector and challenge the way you think about the future of the tech workforce.
